Double Slip Connector

Double Slip Connector

Double Slips connectors are used in applications that are under pressure (i.e. turbo-manifolds), or where minimal leakage is required (i.e. up stream of an O2 sensor or in a street car where an exhaust leak would be unacceptable.). The Double Slip does three things at your joint seam; it forms an excellent seal, it provides flexibility, and allows for disassembly.  These are often great to use in place of flex bellows.

Description

Double Slip connects two sections of coiled tubing. It has High-strength construction makes the connector stronger than the CT string. The A rotational lock prevents the connector from spinning on the coiled tubing when using small downhole motors or other low-to mid-torque generating assemblies. The Re-useable connectors offer multiple use. The external make-up principle avoids inside diameter (I.D.) restriction of the coiled tubing, allowing unrestricted flow and the use of wiper plugs or process balls.
