Flanges and Fittings
A connection profile used in pipe work and associated equipment to provide a means of assembling and disassembling components. Most oilfield flanges feature a bolt-hole pattern to allow the joint to be secured and a gasket profile to ensure a pressure-tight seal.
Description
A flange is a projecting rim or collar on a pipe for a pressure vessel. When used in combination with another flange, it is capable of sealing a pressure vessel or another pipe. This is a reliable way of connecting pipe or vessel systems.
